1983 Liberty Quater Dollar; Whats the deal?
Eagle on the back with quater dollar under it, United States of America above.
Former pres (dont know who) on the other side LIBERTY over the top, 1983 under it "IN GOD WE TRUST" to the left. Minted perfectly central. Anyone know anything about this coin? Just found in a jar of old coins I have had on my shelf since I was a nipper. It is this coin I think: http://www.coinpage.com/coin-image-5905.html But minted perfectly. |

Like these? If so, it is probably the most common coin in circulation, these came from my pocket change yesterday.

Haha, shame. What with all the talk of silver liberty dollars I thought I might have found something of value. On the up side i did find a britsh 1937 George the 5th silver threepence.
Like this one: http://cgi.ebay.ie/1937-silver-three...QQcmdZViewItem Which I believe is "my first physical". Though it seems to be worth about 12 dollars. |

While going through my change the other day I found a rare quarter. Its one of the 1776-1976 quarters with the little drummer boy on the back. I used to see these all the time but I think this is the first I've run across in the last 4-5 years...what gives?
